Student Work
Students in the Urban Affairs and Planning Program at Virginia Tech's National Capital Region write several kinds of papers. Consistency and simplicity set top-quality programs apart. The Urban Affairs and Planning Program in Alexandria maintains a number of general rules for student papers. For all practicums and major papers, students are expected to follow the UAP Style Guide. Faculty in certain courses may also require that students use the style guide for their written products.
Example products from current students and recent graduates are available by following the Studio Projects, Practicum Projects, Major Papers, Notable Student Work, and Award Winning Student Work links.
